About Me
I am married with children.
I have been with my husband for nearly
30 years and been married for over 24.
We have 5 children, 3 grand children
and 1 on the way in September of 09.
Just a servant of God who loves the
Lord with all her might, heart and soul.
I aim to please God and relinquish
my rights, and give up my will to Him.
I surrender myself to the altar of the
Lord and ask Him on a daily basis to clean
me, heal me, and purify me. Deliver me
from the snares of the enemy and take me
to that secret place where we can commune
together. My heart goes out to the people
of God; He has given me the burden for
souls. And that is what we are servants
for to win the souls of people and make
disciples. So they can go out and begin to
do the same thing. If we take our mind off
our agendas and place them on the altar
and leave them and begin to do the work of
the Lord, He will be well pleased.

Hello woman of God,
Good to meet you and have you for a friend.

Exodus 20:17

You shall not covet your neighbor's house. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his manservant or maidservant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

The word covet does not come up in everyday language much. But it certainly is a part of everyday life! The definition for coveting is: to desire wrongfully, inordinately, or without due regard for the rights of others. Behind this is a heart of ingratitude, selfishness and a belief that God has somehow withheld something from us. "I sure wish I had one of those... or, "why isn't my spouse more like them...or, "why do I have to stay in this job...?"

Wanting what we don't have displays that we are not satisfied with God's provision in our life. "I deserve better than this!" And, "I know what I need better than God does." When we believe that God is infinitely good, and we remember that he alone is sovereign, we can set all coveting aside. Another way of translating this command would be, "Be satisfied with what your generous God has given you!"
