About Me

Jubilant, energetic and spirit-filled are just a few of the words that describe the music, ministry, and life of the Christian singer, Frederick J. Dukes Jr. Anointed, called, and released by God to reach a “right now” generation, Dukes only desire is to capture the heart of man and re-ignite a thirst and passion for the things of God.

Dukes, a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, developed a heart for the things of God at a very young age and soon after began to feel the very hand of God shape and mold his talents and gifting in many areas of music, instrumentation, and singing. It is through this blessed assurance that Dukes began to perfect his God given craft and prepare to walk out his prophetic call to reach the nations.

His inroads into the world of Christian music came from some of the most profound pioneers he knows. Some of these include notables Keith and Deborah Moncrief, Trini Massie, and Nicole Smith just to name a few. A tireless warrior for God, Dukes has also sung background vocals for such notables as Kirk Franklin, Johnathan Nelson and he has also worked with well-known gospel producer, Kurt Carr. Frederick is a member of Kingdom Light Ministries in Pittsburgh under the ministerial leadership of Pastor Keith Moncrief. Frederick J. Dukes Jr. sings joyous, Christian music for the world. He says, " When my worship effected the people around me.... I knew God had something special in store for me" The ministry of Frederick J. dukes Jr. is certainly a ministry that has been plucked out by the hand of God to operate in the uplifting and deliverance of the “total man” of today. With every song and performance birthed from his prophetic ear they are certainly inspired by the Holy Spirit. From prophetic ear….to pen and paper…..and now out of the mouth of the psalmist.

2:1 Gather yourselves together, yea, gather together, O nation not desired; 2:2 Before the decree bring forth, [before] the day pass as the chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD come upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger come upon you. 2:3 Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger. 2:4 For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.

Ephesians 5:28-29

In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. After all, no one ever hated his own body, but he feeds and cares for it, just as Christ does the church-

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

A husband who understands and fully believes that his wife is truly his own flesh (Gen 2:24) will treat her with the same love and care as he treats himself.
